Recording

Attach files and links while you talk

You can now add a screenshot, a document or a link at the moment you are recording, not only on the review screen. A paperclip sits beside the mic on a feedback request, a reaction and a discussion take, and on the recording bar while you talk; it opens one small sheet to choose files or paste a link, and the recording keeps going. What you attach shows as chips under the recorder, is already on the review screen, and reaches the card and the emails as attachments do today. If the link hides the review screen, your details step shows what is attached with a last chance to add or remove. On the review screen, Add context and Add files are now one row, Files and context, with one Add; on your private page a response's files and links share one block.

Embed

Put a voice feedback button on your own website

You can now add a button or a small dot to any page of your site, and visitors record or type their feedback in a popup without leaving it. Their responses land on your feedback request marked Embed, with the page and section they came from.

  • Copy the code from Request & settings, and choose which sites may use it.
  • Set a daily limit, see opens against responses, and revoke the code at any time.

Feedback requests

Choose whether reviewers see the brief

You can now turn the brief off on a feedback request, so reviewers go straight from what they said to their details and Send.

Reactions

A reaction is one shared page

Everyone you send a reaction to now shares one page with you, where anyone can comment and move its status. Each person gets their own emails, kept in one thread.

  • When someone else shares your reaction, the email names them, and the new person's reply lands on the reaction.
21 OctNew#282, #286

Emails

Reply to an email to join in

You can now reply to a VoiceAlign email and your words land in the right place, as a comment, a response or a take, with quoted history and signatures removed.

  • If a discussion is closed, you get a link to reopen it and post your reply.
  • A screenshot pasted into your reply is kept as a file.
20 OctNew#284, #285

Links

Short links for every kind of link

Your links are now short and say what they are, like feedback.voicealign.xyz, and they open straight into VoiceAlign.

19 OctNew#281

Emails

Stop or snooze notifications from the email

You can now stop a reaction's or a discussion's emails, or snooze them for 24 hours, from the links in any of its emails. The page shows who stopped them, with a button to turn them back on.

19 OctNew#280

Notes

Comments on your notes, and a way to tell your team

You can now leave comments on your private notes, and nobody is emailed about them. On a feedback or testimonial response, a private comment can also notify you and the people on Also notify when you tick Notify the team.

19 OctNew#274

Private page

Copy a response with all its context

You can now copy a response as just the brief, or with all its context: the transcript, actions, comments and links. The menu remembers your last choice.

Everywhere

Add files wherever you talk

You can now attach files when you send feedback, make a request, respond, post a take or comment, so the screenshot or deck sits next to what was said. Images and text open in a viewer on the page, PDFs open in a new tab and Office files download.

  • Testimonial requests can ask for a headshot, a company logo and supporting files.
  • Emails list the files with Open and Download links.
  • A Files fold gathers every file in a discussion.
11 OctNew#256

Feedback requests

Choose what responders must give

You can now set whether responders must give their name and email, on feedback and testimonial requests. Feedback requests default to name required and email optional.

Feedback requests

Work your feedback like a to-do list

Every response on your feedback request is now a ticket you can move from Open to Done, with Potential actions drawn from what was said and comments you can type or dictate. The person's own words never change.

  • Edit, add, merge or remove actions, each with its own status.
  • Mark a ticket Won't do, Duplicate or Archived to put it away.
  • Name an anonymous response once you know who sent it.
  • Statuses and comments work on testimonial requests too.

Your work

Your work keeps everything you make

Your work now gathers every brief and link you make in one library, so you can come back to any of them. Every kind of link confirms "Saved to Your work" when you create it.

  • Archive what you no longer need, and a discarded brief leaves the library.

Discussions

Discussions that show where the group stands

A discussion now shows how close the group is to agreeing: points read as settled or not, people mark "settled for me" or "I disagree" with a reason, and up to three open questions stay in view. Closing it writes a wrap-up.

  • Add people by email. A new take emails everyone else, and so does the wrap-up.
  • Point a question at specific people; it closes only when one of them answers.
  • Every take keeps what the person actually said, with its recording.
6 OctNew#210

Review screen

Pin context to any brief

You can now pin the link under review, other links or pasted text to a brief, each with a note on what it is for. Everyone who reads the brief sees them, and so do the emails that carry it.

5 OctNew#207

Links

Link previews say what the link is

A VoiceAlign link pasted into Slack, Discord, WhatsApp, Telegram, LinkedIn or Twitter now unfurls with a card saying what it opens and who is asking. Private pages show that they are private, with their title.

Testimonials

Testimonials in the lengths you need

You can now ask for one or more lengths. The speaker approves one quote at the longest length, and the shorter cuts are made from it after consent, for you alone.

  • Speakers perfect the quote first, by voice or by editing, then add their details.
  • If the company name changes while a speaker is on the page, they agree again to the new wording.
  • Each testimonial keeps the length it was given in.

Feedback requests

Ask for feedback with just a link

You can now create a feedback request from just a link, with no questions and no brief to review.

July 2026

Website

Use cases on the website

The website now walks through four uses of a feedback request, for product, marketing, sales, and research and UX, each as a few short steps from the situation to the outcome.

Everywhere

One way from talking to a brief

Every flow now starts the same way: talk, answer a few questions, then review the brief. Edit the title, summary and points in one go, and anything you add later reshapes the brief instead of being ignored.

  • Titles are specific to what you are reviewing.

Website

Step by step demos for each flow

The website lets you click through each flow before you try it, with Back and Next, and each demo ends with a button that opens that flow.

Feedback requests

A private page for every feedback request

You now get a share link and a private page for each feedback request, where responses collect with their summary, points and audio. Reviewers open the link, record, review and send, and you are notified.

  • Edit your instructions and save a new version; each response shows which one it saw.
  • Results links open straight from your email.
18 JulNew#55

Private page

Spin a response forward

You can now turn a brief or a response into a new one you own, already filled in, so you never dictate it twice. A From line links back to where it came from.

18 JulNew#53

Notes

Notes become a private workspace

Your notes now open in a private workspace: dictate more thoughts, then turn them into a feedback request, a reaction or a discussion when you are ready. Only your private link opens them.
